Unfortunately, not all projects are for fun, some are out of sheer necessity! This project was commissioned due to a deck over living space that had been improperly built, creating a negative slope back into the existing home. There was a significant amount of water damage to the living space below. The opportunity presented itself to have the deck rebuilt for the homeowner so that they could use this beautiful outdoor living space located in the mountains of Divide, Colorado. The existing deck was demolished, and a new deck and support system installed, including EPDM waterproof roofing, a glycol snow-melt system, and a light-weight concrete pour.
